Talulah Riley was born in London and grew up in Buckinghamshire. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and earned a degree in English and American Literature at the University of East Anglia. She has appeared in films such as "Suffragette" and "Burnt". Talulah has also worked as a TV presenter for the children's channel Nickelodeon and as an actress in television films such as "Dead Man's Time", "Auf Wiedersehen Pet" and "The Bill"
In 2011 she took part in the Channel 4 show The Jump, where she became the first woman to take part in a ski jumping competition.

My dad is Scottish, and he read in the newspaper about the plight of the Scottish Freshwater Mussel, which is a real thing - like, a very real, serious conservation issue. And he's a writer, and he was going to do a film about a Glaswegian gangster, and then I stole the idea and turned it into a romantic comedy.Talulah Riley
